Welcome to my page — my name is Erika.

My life took an unexpected turn when I turned fifty. That was the time I entered menopause, and not long after, I received the diagnosis that changed everything: breast cancer. The treatments, surgeries, and the long months of recovery meant spending a great deal of time at home, often feeling uncertain, exhausted, and searching for something that could bring strength and meaning back into my everyday life.

During that time, I spent countless hours on Pinterest. I was looking for information about healing, health, and alternative perspectives, but also for small inspirations that could brighten difficult days — ideas about home, beauty, lifestyle, and the simple joys of life. Along the way I often discovered that many things I read online were misleading or lacked reliable sources. I found myself constantly double-checking information to understand what was truly trustworthy.

That experience became one of the main reasons why I created this space.

This is how Erika D. Aesthetic Lifestyle Styles was born.

This blog is not just a collection of articles. It is a personal space where I share things that genuinely interest me and that I have carefully researched. Every post you read here — whether it is about health, lifestyle, beauty, home inspiration, or even a well-known brand like Christian Dior — is the result of real curiosity, careful reading, and days of research to ensure the information I share is thoughtful, honest, and as reliable as possible.

Two years after my diagnosis, I am now cancer-free and deeply grateful for life from a completely new perspective. This blog is part of that journey — a place where inspiration, curiosity, and honest stories come together.

If you would like to read more about my personal journey with cancer, you can find my full story here.

And if you ever feel like sharing your own story or simply reaching out, you are always welcome to contact me.
